CCB Work-bee is Saturday April 22nd

Dear Membership,

The work bee will be April 22 and we may open the Club that noon, weather permitting.  Please join us for a few hours of work, a hot dog and a beer.  The work bee is an important annual event to the Club and a great chance to meet fellow members.

The Saturday Morning Group has already done one work bee to help do a preliminary cleaning of the new banquet room and the members’ lounge.  Ken Geider and Hay C. Grenier have contributed untold hours of volunteer help.  We have electrical work and material that was all donated by Todd Benoit (Benoit Electric) and Tom Deforge (Twin State Electric).

An anonymous member has purchased a new utility cart for the greens crew.

I cannot stress enough how much this Club relies on volunteers to make things affordable.

I am excited to announce that the Country Club of Barre will be offering PGA Junior League Golf this year. Open to boys and girls – ages 13 and under of all skill levels – PGA Junior League Golf provides a fun, social and inclusive opportunity for kids to learn and play golf in a recreational team setting.

Teammates, numbered jerseys, and coaching from PGA and LPGA Professionals: PGA Junior League Golf is a fun, social and inclusive way for your kids, ages 13 and under, to learn and play golf this year!

Country Club of Barre is offering PGA Junior League Golf for the first time, open to boys and girls of all skill levels – no prior playing experience is required. PGA Junior League Golf is a great way to get the whole family outdoors and on the golf course!

Participants receive:

·         Team jersey, t-shirt and bag tag

·         5-7 team practices, instruction and free range balls
